About PNG to JPG conversion
PNG supports transparency, while JPG does not. Transparent areas are filled with white during conversion. JPG is useful for photos and files that need broad compatibility.

How does image quality work?
Choose a JPG or WebP quality setting from 10% to 100%. Lower values generally produce smaller files with more visible compression; higher values preserve more detail but often increase file size. These percentages describe encoding quality, not a guaranteed reduction in file size. PNG output does not use the quality setting.
Your privacy matters
Image conversion happens locally in your browser using built-in browser technology. The image converter processes your files locally; Pixsoluna does not upload or store your images.
